Welcome to Holy Trinity Church

A place of prayer, peace and fellowship

The people at Holy Trinity are relatively mixed with all ages and backgrounds represented.  It is a growing congregation people having joined us, from younger couples moving into the area for work (often getting involved through our marriage mission work) to retirees moving in to be close to family and friends, and perhaps most encouragingly, people are coming from the newer estates which have traditionally been hard to reach.

Active groups in the congregation and/or associated with us include our thriving bell ringers, the churchyard maintenance team (all volunteers), the fundraising group (including hospitality and catering) and the singing group.

One of the strengths of our formal worship is our music.  We appreciate traditional (including sung BCP) liturgies, as well as contemporary services and some fresh expressions styles of worship. Some members of our congregation are drawn to a contemplative approach and style of prayer. Lay involvement in worship planning and leading of services is high we are the only church in Milton Keynes to offer a Morning Prayer service 5 days a week

HT is open during the summer months on alternate Saturdays and over Bank Holidays. Many walkers and cyclists pass by the church and it has been encouraging to see how many are keen to come in and look at the church. Tea and coffee is available and a guide book of the church is on sale. Social events are used as a means of fundraising. These include concerts, a summer cream tea afternoon, barbeques as well as a Christmas Fair and quiz nights.  A particular highlight is the Stargazing Evening led by the Milton Keynes Astronomical Society
